Our history

In the early years, Cavallino served as the village inn (ustì) with a few rooms and traditional Ladin cuisine. As needs changed, the guesthouse required renovation; the first major transformation came in 1952, when Raimund decided to reconstruct and extend the building to create what would become Hotel Cavallino. At the end of the 1970s the outbuilding (dependance) was built, and in the early 1990s the residence was added.

In 2008, to meet growing guest expectations, the hotel was completely rebuilt, and a large underground garage was constructed.

The result is a completely renewed hotel with a modern design, realised with natural materials such as wood, stone and metal. Tradition was not abandoned: its essence was taken from Ladin culture and adapted to new technologies - a refined effort to always offer our guests the best.

The latest addition is the new Grandependance, synonymous with high comfort, contemporary design and authentic values
